Eure Departemental Council
PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION | UX/UI MISSIONS
The departmental council of Eure is the deliberative assembly of the French department of Eure, a decentralized territorial community. Its headquarters are in Évreux. The actions of the Departmental Council involve the daily life of all Eurois: social assistance (elderly and disabled, childhood and family, integration, right to health), but also education and youth, roads, transport, culture, the departmental fire and rescue service, to which are added proactive policies such as the economy, community life or agriculture.
Presentation 🔍
Develop UX design approaches in administration and improve the experience user of online public services. It's about accelerating the capacity experimentation and modernization through concrete projects.
How it works 🧐
The administration has concocted 3 projects on which our Design expertise is crucial.
- Improve the user experience of the main website : Eure en ligne.
- Creation of the job search platform Job27.
- Creation of the website and all the graphic identity: L'eure impressionne le monde.
Project duration 8 months.
Needs 📈
Each year, a promotion of Designers joins the administration for a 8 to 12 month period to resolve government digital transformation projects. These projects are selected by a jury. As a UX Designer, I joined the Design team within the Eure departmental council and was able to work on projects.
Missions 👁
Our mission was to propose and implement ergonomic improvements different portals, in order to increase the logic of the routes users, and unify the different “spaces”. Thus offering a fluid and coherent digital experience. To do this, we applied UX/UI methodologies: user research, personae, user journey, experience mapping, usability tests, etc. Animation of design workshops, web and mobile screen prototypes (zoning, low fidelity / high fidelity wireframe), moodboard, graphical charter, interactive prototype. Thanks to these missions, we have been able to support projects in their digital transformation to improve the experience of online public services.

Eure en ligne is the main site of the departmental council of Eure the biggest mission has been to change the information architecture, to simplify the user journey and to make the site more fluid for navigation, understanding and modernization of the experience in a responsive way while respecting the imposed standards of public service.
